Dal Josafat is situated in the industrial area of Paarl, and is north of the semaphore controlled stations of Paarl and Huguenot. Signalling around this station is now color light, since the 1980s, and the station is now controlled by this miniature frame, which is also becoming rare in South Africa (one of the larger installations at nearby Bellville was convered to CTC in 2004.)
